Industry-Funded Monitoring Public Hearing Document Now Posted Online

As previously announced, NOAA Fisheries, the  New England Fishery Management Council (NEFMC) and the Mid-Atlantic Fishery Management Council (MAFMC), will be holding public meetings to solicit comments on the Draft Industry-Funded Monitoring (IFM) Omnibus Amendment. 

NOAA Fisheries has posted a public hearing document (pdf, 27pp), with background information, description of alternatives, impacts of alternatives, and questions the public should consider.

The public comment period will be open through November 7.
