Workshop on Electronic Reporting of Vessel Trip Reports (eVTRs) for the For-Hire Sector this Saturday in Toms River, NJ

The Mid-Atlantic Fishery Management Council is hosting a workshop in Toms River, NJ this Saturday (February 24) for the purpose of providing instruction to for-hire operators on electronic reporting of vessel trip reports (VTRs). While all options for electronic reporting will be briefly discussed, the majority of each workshop will focus on hands-on training for the SAFIS eTrips/mobile and eTrips Online systems developed by the Atlantic Coastal Cooperative Statistics Program (ACCSP), and the Greater Atlantic Region's Fish Online iOS app.

The Council is also hosting training webinar on Friday, March 2 from 10 am to 12:30 pm for recreational for-hire captains who want to learn more about filing eVTRs. Electronic reporting will be required beginning March 12 for all passenger-carrying, for-hire vessels with charter/party permits for Mid-Atlantic species.
