ATLANTIC HERRING FISHERY Correction to 2018 Annual Catch Limit Adjustment

We have corrected the herring annual catch limits (ACL) for 2018. In February 2018, we originally adjusted the ACLs using the preliminary 2016 adjusted ACLs that were established in early 2016. The February adjustments inadvertently omitted information from new 2016 specifications that were published at the end of 2016 and the reallocation of a portion of the management uncertainty buffer due to lower than expected harvest in the New Brunswick weir fishery during 2016. The corrected 2018 ACLs are:
