These data are the best available to NOAA's National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) when this report was compiled. Data for this report may be supplied to NOAA Fisheries Service (NMFS) from the following sources: (1) dealers via Dealer Electronic Reporting to either the Standard Atlantic Fisheries Information System (SAFIS) or the Federally Licensed Seafood Dealers Trip Ticket System; (2) NOAA Fisheries Service Observer Program, through audited observer reports submitted by the Northeast Fisheries Science Center; and (3) from the NOAA Fisheries Office of Law Enforcement via reports resulting from actual dockside inspections of catch. Data in this report are for landings made through April 30, 2007 and may be preliminary. Discrepancies with data from previous reports are due to corrections made to the database.
