Notice 2025 specifications have not been finalized, and the fishery is operating under a roll-over of the 2024 specifications. The Mid-Atlantic Council has recommended an 2025 Incidental TAL of 68,949 lb.

The incidental commercial landing limit for golden tilefish is: 500 lb or 50 percent, by weight, of all fish, including the golden tilefish, onboard the vessel, whichever is less. Fish must have head and fins attached, but may be gutted. The incidental limit applies to all vessels not fishing under a tilefish individual fishing quota (IFQ) allocation. If the incidental quota is reached, we will close the incidental fishery for the remainder of the fishing year. Such a closure would not affect vessels fishing under a tilefish IFQ allocation.**
