GARFO’s Technical Assistance Team Keeps Us Connected

Ever wonder who is on the other end of the phone keeping you from pulling out your hair when you have a technology problem? Here at GARFO, we have a top notch team of technical experts to resolve issues you may experience while using our electronic services.

Diane Arsenault, Vincent DiTullio, and Derek Deacon work every day to get both GARFO staff and fishermen out of pickles on their computers and back to work. All are contract employees for Lynker Technologies, have varied backgrounds in technical support, and together bring decades of combined experience to GARFO. Joanne Lorello is the Team Lead for this group, and you may hear her on the phone as well.

Fielding more than 6,000 calls per year, some of the most common issues the tech team addresses are helping fishermen:

Within our building, this team handles a wide range of tasks and issues. For example, on any given day, they may handle everything from troubleshooting staff computer issues to assisting with the development of new online services.

This team’s talents go way beyond technical support. In his spare time, Derek flies drones and captures beautiful aerial photographs. Diane and her husband built a post-and-beam cabin in Vermont without assistance. Vincent was a paratrooper in the U.S. Army’s 82nd Airborne Division. Joanne plays the fiddle. What an invaluable team – we would be lost without them!
